SSASECT

Section Screen, will show meeting pattern, enrollment caps, waitlist on/off, grade mode, credit hours, instructor’s, classroom assignment, schedule type, and campus.

 

SFASLST

Class roster screen, will show the roster of all students registered for the class, the grade mode they were registered for and whether they were registered for the class by Tulane staff [status=RE] or self-registered [status=RW].

 

SFASTCA

Student registration history, by term. This screen will show all registration attempts for a particular student for all CRNs and the outcome of each attempt by term.

 

SFIWLNT

Waitlist notification screen, see when the student got their email notice to register for a particular class.

 

SFAWLPR

Waitlist management screen, see what position the student is on the waitlist.

 

SFAXWLP

Crosslist waitlist management screen, Crosslist courses have a different set of screens to manage the waitlist. Here you can check the waitlist order for a crosslist.

 

SSAXLST

Crosslist screen, through this screen you can see which sections are set up in a crosslist and what the combined enrollment cap be. The combined enrollment cap for the crosslist needs to AT LEAST equal to the sum of the enrollment cap for each individual section in crosslist.

 

SOAHOLD

Hold screen, here you can see all active and historic holds on a students account by ID number. For registration, you want to pay attention to all holds with ‘REG’ and the active dates. The Office of the Registrar cannot remove holds.

 

SSAPREQ

Pre-req screen, by section [you need CRN]. In this screen, you can see all the pre-req’s or placement requirements on any section.

 

SSARRES

Restriction’s screen, by section [you need CRN]. In this screen, you can see all the restrictions [see above] set up on a given section.

 

SSADETL

Section Attribute and co-requisite screen, by section. CRN required. In this screen, you can see two registration related pieces of information, on the first tab, you can see any section-specific co-requisite classes that are set up. On the second tab, you can see all attributes that are active on that section (writing intensive, Race and Inclusion, Textual and Historic Per, etc.).

 

SSATEXT

Course note screen. This screen shows all of the course notes that display on each section in the schedule of classes). CRN required.

 

SFAREGS

Student schedule screen, by semester. This screen shows all the sections students are currently registered in, their minimum and maximum allowed credit hours, their class status and their full time or part time status, and their curricula.

 

SFASRPO

Student Override screen, by semester and CRN. This screen shows all of the overrides that have been formally issued to the student. Types: Capacity, Department, Pre-requisite.

 

SGAADVR

Student Advisor Screen, this screen shows the students academic, major/minor and other advisors.

 

SGASTDN

Student Curricula screen. This is a GREAT screen for information on the student, their active/inactive status, the program and degree and major they are enrolled in by semester.

 

SPAAPIN

Student Pin screen. Any students with special registration pins [honor’s, spring scholars, athletes, etc.] who get to register in advance of other students will have a pin number in this screen. The information on SPAAPIN is private to our office only and should not be shared.

 

SOATEST

Student placement exam screen. This screen will show any ‘placement exams’ the student has been approved for. This is typically for foreign language classes and the placement acts as a substitute for a prerequisite.

 

Schedule of classes

Term Preview

Log into the schedule of classes with your Gibson ID and search for the term and section you are querying, term preview will show you additional information on the section that is not visible without this access [room capacity, technology, current enrollment].

By using the search feature in the schedule of classes, you can search for a section to find its CRN, the instructor, enrollment cap, waitlist, and classroom assignment.
