Viewing and interpreting a student's learner record (SGASTDN)

A student’s learner record is viewed in SGASTDN.

In the SGASTDN key block, enter the student ID and term. Go.

 

View current/active vs. all curricula

To only view current and active programs, click the View Current/Active flag checkbox. If you select View Current/Active flag, the flag will remain in Banner until you remove the flag. If you need to view prior records they will not display until the flag is removed.

To view all prior curriculum records, enter the student’s ID or name, leave the term blank and the current/active flag unchecked and click on the Go button.

Student summary

Clicking the Student Summary button will open SGASTDQ, which displays all prior history of curriculum, major, and minors. Click on the From Term to view the Curricula Summary and Field of Study for the term.

Student Status

AS: Active

IS: Inactive

IG: Inactive due to graduation

Student Type

N: FTF New Undergraduate

G: New Graduate

U: NUN Undergraduate

P: New Professional
